| Allison has a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's Degree with Distinction in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut. She holds professional licenses in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Allison has over 25 years of experience in working with individuals and groups as a psychotherapist, consultant, and coach. Allison facilitates workshops pertaining to women and adolescent females, stress reduction, wellness, and self-esteem building. You can hear Allison live on the radio as one of "The Therapy Sisters," Tuesdays, 6:12pm, WKNY New York, 1490am. The show is also available by pod cast through the website (www.therapysisters.net) Allison writes a regular column, "Understanding Adolescence," for the Poughkeepsie Journal, a Gannett newspaper. She also writes monthly for "Living and Being," a holistic wellness magazine. She has published award winning fiction and is currently working on several projects for publication.
